The RS 2 Remote Control Handle attaches to the right side of the Advanced Ring Grip and Dual Handle Power Supply Bracket to give you easy access to your gimbal’s settings as well as the record and photo functions of your camera.
The Thumbstick allows you to control the Pan and Tilt of your gimbal for maximum precision while operating and the Focus Wheel allows you to wirelessly control either a DJI or Nucleus Series Lens Control Motor.
This Handle is powered via a single 18650 Battery and can be mounted or used wirelessly.

The Dual Handle Power Supply Bracket for RS 2 allows you to power your RS2 via a Gold or V-Mount battery, provides additional stability when operating, and features multiple mounting points for attaching accessories.

The Bracket allows you to mount the RS2’s Battery Handle on the left side for additional battery life, while the threads on the right side allow for mounting a mechanical handle in various positions and distances from the gimbal body.

The DJI RS 2 is a redesigned follow-up to the Ronin-S gimbal with a payload of up to 10 lb. It's about 25% lighter and more compact thanks to monocoque carbon fiber axis arms and a shorter grip handle with a smaller battery cartridge, although still with a 12-hour runtime. The motors are about 20% more powerful and support cameras such as the Blackmagic Pocket 6K, Canon 1D X Mark III, Sony a7S III, and ALEXA Mini LF. Please see the most current camera and lens compatibility list on the DJI website.

The RS 2 also has a 1.4" full-color LCD touchscreen that allows you to access gimbal settings as well as features such as time-lapse and hyperlapse, which were previously accessible only via the companion mobile app.

The RS 2 uses the DJI Titan stabilization algorithm to provide improved stabilization with increased smoothness. In applications with up to 100mm zoom lenses, a built-in feature called SuperSmooth complements the algorithm by compensating for micromovements and increasing torque to achieve fluid motion (an optional lens support is required).

There are also two RSA ports with electrical contacts for dedicated accessories, and each port has a NATO mount for quick release attachment of these optional accessories. One RSA port is provided on the left and one on the right side of the gimbal. Supported accessories include a focus wheel, a twist-grip dual handle, and a universal mount for efficiently attaching the gimbal to a car, jib, or slider.

The companion iOS/Android Ronin app offers many creative features in addition to standard time-lapse and panorama functions. Time Tunnel combines roll motion with hyperlapse to "twist" space and time. Track allows you to create a repeatable camera movement path for a tightly choreographed shot. Force Mobile makes the gimbal follow your smartphone's movements. Force Mobile can also be achieved with enhanced responsiveness when you use the optional DJI RavenEye 1080p transmission system. As mentioned, many of these features can be accessed from the touchscreen LCD of the RS 2. When you use the optional RavenEye system, you can also display a live view of your subjects on the touchscreen when using the RavenEye's ActiveTrack feature.

The RS 2 uses a dual-layer Manfrotto plus Arca-Swiss camera mounting system with two removable quick release plates. For social media content, the gimbal can be adjusted at the tab of a button to position your camera into portrait mode. To let you efficiently balance your camera, the RS 2 has an axis lock on each axis, so you can unlock and balance one axis at a time. Additionally, a fine-tune balancing knob allows you to further dial in the optimal balance for your camera.

The gimbal runs for up to 12 hours on a battery cartridge that secures to the included grip handle. The cartridge can easily be swapped out for another one, sold separately. The cartridge is rechargeable via a USB Type-C port on the grip, and the grip can be totally removed from the gimbal when you need to recharge the battery. The BG30 grip is compatible with the PD and QC 2.0 charging protocols. DJI highly recommends using a 24W charger, not included. The battery supports 24W fast charging and can be fully recharged in about 1.5 hours.

The RS 2 comes with a splash-proof carry case designed with dedicated compartments for the different parts of the gimbal and key accessories. A mini tripod is also included and attaches to a 1/4"-20 thread on the bottom of the grip handle to function as a stand or an extension handle for two-handed maneuvering of the gimbal in certain scenarios.

Extending the range of compatible lenses while maintaining their original field of view, the Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R 0.71x permits attaching EF-mount lenses to RF-mount cine and mirrorless cameras. The DJI RS 2 is a redesigned follow-up to the Ronin-S gimbal with a payload of up to 10 lb. It's about 25% lighter and more compact thanks to monocoque carbon fiber axis arms and a shorter grip handle with a smaller battery cartridge, although still with a 12-hour runtime. The motors are about 20% more powerful and support cameras such as the Blackmagic Pocket 6K, Canon 1D X Mark III, Sony a7S III, and ALEXA Mini LF. Please see the most current camera and lens compatibility list on the DJI website.

The RS 2 also has a 1.4" full-color LCD touchscreen that allows you to access gimbal settings as well as features such as time-lapse and hyperlapse, which were previously accessible only via the companion mobile app.

The RS 2 uses the DJI Titan stabilization algorithm to provide improved stabilization with increased smoothness. In applications with up to 100mm zoom lenses, a built-in feature called SuperSmooth complements the algorithm by compensating for micromovements and increasing torque to achieve fluid motion (an optional lens support is required).

There are also two RSA ports with electrical contacts for dedicated accessories, and each port has a NATO mount for quick release attachment of these optional accessories. One RSA port is provided on the left and one on the right side of the gimbal. Supported accessories include a focus wheel, a twist-grip dual handle, and a universal mount for efficiently attaching the gimbal to a car, jib, or slider.

The companion iOS/Android Ronin app offers many creative features in addition to standard time-lapse and panorama functions. Time Tunnel combines roll motion with hyperlapse to "twist" space and time. Track allows you to create a repeatable camera movement path for a tightly choreographed shot. Force Mobile makes the gimbal follow your smartphone's movements. Force Mobile can also be achieved with enhanced responsiveness when you use the optional DJI RavenEye 1080p transmission system. As mentioned, many of these features can be accessed from the touchscreen LCD of the RS 2. When you use the optional RavenEye system, you can also display a live view of your subjects on the touchscreen when using the RavenEye's ActiveTrack feature.

The RS 2 uses a dual-layer Manfrotto plus Arca-Swiss camera mounting system with two removable quick release plates. For social media content, the gimbal can be adjusted at the tab of a button to position your camera into portrait mode. To let you efficiently balance your camera, the RS 2 has an axis lock on each axis, so you can unlock and balance one axis at a time. Additionally, a fine-tune balancing knob allows you to further dial in the optimal balance for your camera.

The gimbal runs for up to 12 hours on a battery cartridge that secures to the included grip handle. The cartridge can easily be swapped out for another one, sold separately. The cartridge is rechargeable via a USB Type-C port on the grip, and the grip can be totally removed from the gimbal when you need to recharge the battery. The BG30 grip is compatible with the PD and QC 2.0 charging protocols. DJI highly recommends using a 24W charger, not included. The battery supports 24W fast charging and can be fully recharged in about 1.5 hours.

The RS 2 comes with a splash-proof carry case designed with dedicated compartments for the different parts of the gimbal and key accessories. A mini tripod is also included and attaches to a 1/4"-20 thread on the bottom of the grip handle to function as a stand or an extension handle for two-handed maneuvering of the gimbal in certain scenarios.

The VCT Pro has a built-in, curved shoulder pad and an Arri M6 rosette for accessories and grips. The v-wedge tripod connector is compatible with VCT14 tripod adapter plates or the 1/4 20 and 3/8 16 screw holes for direct connection to your tripod quick release plate. 

The red sliding top plate offers easy adjust-ability for lens changes, removing your camera, and balancing your rig correctly on your shoulder. This sliding plate combined with a double screw track offers 10” of camera balance sliding range. You can quickly release your camera from the rig by sliding the red plate completely off and using our VCT Pro Dock to quickly transition it to a tripod, slider, etc. 

The lightweight, adjustable rod mount is set far back in the plate, offering plenty of accessory-capable area under the camera lens. This allows you to position your camera further back on the plate, keeping the balance point of your rig directly over your shoulder. The sliding track of the rod riser offers 25mm of vertical adjustment. Alternate Tall Rod Riser offering up to 45mm of vertical adjustment - for RED cameras - is available. 

The shoulder pad portion of the VCT Universal is set as far forward on the plate as possible, also to maximize your accessory capable rod area and aid with balance. The VCT Universal Baseplate is the core of our Next Generation Recoil rigs, designed for balance and comfort for every camera.

Keeping the camera low prevents already tall cameras from being too top heavy. With our VCT, the distance from the bottom of your camera to your shoulder is just 3/4 inch.

Practical and Intuitive Handling

Two Direct Drive SSM (DDSSM) autofocus groups offer quick, quiet, and precise focusing performance that is ideal for both stills and video applications.
Floating focusing system divides the focus group into two separately controlled groups and helps to maintain consistently clear optical performance throughout the zoom and focus ranges.
Dedicated focus hold button and AF/MF switch for direct tactile control over focus settings.
Dust- and moisture-sealed design better permits working in inclement conditions and rubberized control rings benefit handling in colder temperatures.

Designed to satisfy 4K production requirements, the Sony FE PZ 28-135mm f/4 G OSS Lens is a wide-ranging zoom lens that covers wide-angle to telephoto perspectives while adding many features for your full-frame, APS-C, or E-mount camcorder or still photography camera system. The lens features a powered zoom control with a variable speed and zoom rotation direction reversal capability. Powering the zoom function is an SSM (Super Sonic wave Motor) drive that allows precision and quiet operation. Focus noise is also minimized through weight reduction of the focus element group and use of a linear motor. Iris function is also designed to be smooth and silent for cinematography demands.
Angle of view variations while focusing (breathing) and axial displacement while zooming have been reduced while five aspherical elements and three ED elements work with advanced multi-coating technology to minimize distortion and chromatic aberrations while also contributing to sharper overall imagery with enhanced contrast and clarity.
Independent control rings for zoom, focus, and iris (aperture) are provided for and the focus mode can be switched from auto to manual by sliding the focus ring forward so control is maintained at all times. All three control rings have been engineered to provide the right amount of torque for comfortable, responsive operation and the pitch of the scalloping on the rings has been designed for comfortable, slip-free control.
A constant f/4 maximum aperture offers consistent performance throughout the zoom range and is especially beneficial when working with greater zoom magnifications in low-light conditions. Also benefiting working in dim light or at the long end of the zoom range is Optical SteadyShot image stabilization, which works to minimize the appearance of camera shake by up to four shutter speed steps.

The Aputure MC 4-Light Travel Kit with Charging Case includes four Aputure MC light fixtures, a charging case, and accessories. The MC light fixtures are part of the Aputure M-series of lights and feature RGB LEDs, as well as both tungsten- and daylight-balanced LEDs, creating a full hue-controllable LED light that emits up to 95% of the BT.2020 color gamut. This lightweight fixture easily fits in the palm of your hand and can be mounted using the built-in 1/4"-20 threaded mounting hole or attached to metal items via its built-in magnets. The light integrates an OLED display screen and a control wheel. Compatibility with the Aputure Sidus Link app enables you to remotely control your light from your mobile device. The light fixture supports the Sidus Mesh technology that enables you to control multiple fixtures.

The fixture is dimmable from 100 to 0% brightness, has 360° of hue control, and 100 levels of color saturation adjustment. It features a CRI rating of 96 and a TLCI rating of 97, and the MC LED light has a color temperature range of 3200 to 6500K adjustable in 100K increments. In addition to the HSI and CCT settings, the light has nine built-in FX settings. The integrated battery will run the fixture for two hours at maximum brightness. The fixture supports USB Type-C PD (Power Delivery) quick-charging protocol for rapid charging, and it also supports the Qi wireless charging protocol, making it compatible with most wireless chargers.

The included case holds the four MC fixtures and can be used to wirelessly charge the lights using the included power supply. The case also incorporates two 5 VDC USB power ports for charging mobile accessories.

Relatively small and lightweight, the DZOFilm VESPID 40mm T2.1 Lens is part of the VESPID series of lenses from DZOFilm and is well suited for independent and high-end full-frame cinematography. The lens has an 80mm front diameter, allowing it to work with virtually any cine-style matte box. The small size makes this lens an attractive option when working with drones and gimbals, as well as when shooting handheld or run-and-gun. The interchangeable PL mount and included EF mount allow you to use the fully manual lens on a variety of modern and vintage cine cameras, while the full-frame coverage supports sensors that have an image circle up to 46.5mm for use on cameras with sensors up to full-frame without vignetting.
The 16-blade iris, which is consistent throughout the VESPID prime lens lineup, creates round out-of-focus highlights that have a more natural appearance and contribute to the lens's natural-looking bokeh. The focus ring features a 270° of rotation for precise focus pulls, and the iris ring a generous 64° of rotation. Cine-style gear rings on the focus and iris rings make the lens compatible with cine-style lens accessories such as follow focus units, lens motors, and lens control systems. The lens has a magnetically attached rear filter for ND filters.
Key Features
This 40mm lens has an image circle that covers a full-frame sensor. When mounted on a camera with a Super35 sensor, it provides you with a tighter shot than if mounted on a camera with a full-frame sensor.
The lens comes with an interchangeable PL mount with an EF mount included.

RED has taken fresh steps with the release of the KOMODO 6K Digital Cinema Camera by bringing their legendary image quality and color science into an ultra-compact, all-in-one design that weighs just 2.1 lb measures about 4 x 4 x 4". Key to achieving this goal was the use of the Canon RF lens mount and the KOMODO 19.9MP Super35 CMOS sensor which boasts Global Shutter technology. This sensor can create images with 16+ stops dynamic range and eliminates rolling shutter artifacts. Users can also be certain they are getting RED quality thanks to the ability to record up to 6K at 40 fps, 5K at 48 fps, 4K at 60 fps, and 2K at 120 fps in REDCODE RAW for incredible flexibility in post-production. The KOMODO firmware update Beta v.1.5.0 adds support for 6K anamorphic, 4-channel audio, FTPS for remote offloading, Canon RF lens-control ring support, and more. It also adds ExAscend CFast 512GB and 1TB cards to the approved media list.

Revolutionary for RED is the creation of an extremely compact all-in-one design with the KOMODO. This means you can simply pop in a CFast 2.0 card into its media slot and you are ready to roll with data rates up to 280 MB/s. A top 2.9" 1440 x 1440 touchscreen makes it easy to configure and monitor your footage or you can use the RED Control system for using an iOS or Android device for preview and settings. This is possible through integrated 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi. Wired control is also possible via the USB Type-C port and optional adapters.

The use of the Canon RF lens mount allows the KOMODO to be extremely compact while still enabling compatibility with a vast range of lenses through the use of optional adapters. The mount will natively support mechanical RF lenses and mechanical EF lenses via the included adapter. Using optional electronic EF-to-RF mount adapters, the KOMODO will even support electronic Canon EF-mount lenses and unlock additional functionality, such as autofocus.

A first for RED is the ability to use Phase-Detect Autofocus (PDAF) with compatible lenses. This includes adapted Canon EF-mount lenses used with a separately available EF-to-RF adapter with electronic communication. Phase-detect systems are known for their speed by measuring and comparing distance and should provide a reliable, accurate system for video production. Additionally, the touchscreen can be used for quickly changing focus and selecting subjects.

Getting back to image quality, the KOMODO promises to be among RED's finest with the ability to capture up to 6K at 40 fps using the powerful 16-bit REDCODE RAW format. RED has simplified compression options, giving users a choice between HQ, MQ, and LQ, each varying compression from low to high, respectively. Having these choices allows users to choose the best option for each shoot and whether to prioritize data rate or image quality. REDCODE RAW is supported for 5K up to 48 fps, 4K up to 60 fps, and 2K up to 120 fps and will deliver the greatest possible flexibility in post-production. Those looking to use a more conventional format can record natively in Apple ProRes 422 HQ and standard 422 with DCI 4K up to 60 fps or DCI 2K up to 120 fps.

Being a complete all-in-one camera solution, the KOMODO features an array of necessary ports and connections. This includes integrated stereo microphones and a 3.5mm input for audio, genlock/timecode/GPIO/RS232 support via a 9-pin EXT port, and a DC power input. A 12G-SDI port will support up to DCI 4K at 60 fps in 10-bit 4:2:2 quality for dedicated monitoring solutions. The rear of the camera also sports dual Canon BP-9xx series battery slots which can be hot-swapped for practically unlimited recording in the field.

The RED KOMODO 6K offers an exceptionally compact form factor that sacrifices nothing in terms of image quality. This base model includes the KOMODO 6K, a 45W AC power adapter, Mini World Travel Adapter Kit, and a Canon RF-to-EF mechanical adapter.

The Nucleus -M Lens Control System allows connections between the hand unit or handles to the motors which are completely wirelesses (no MDR required). RED has taken fresh steps with the release of the KOMODO 6K Digital Cinema Camera by bringing their legendary image quality and color science into an ultra-compact, all-in-one design that weighs just 2.1 lb measures about 4 x 4 x 4". Key to achieving this goal was the use of the Canon RF lens mount and the KOMODO 19.9MP Super35 CMOS sensor which boasts Global Shutter technology. This sensor can create images with 16+ stops dynamic range and eliminates rolling shutter artifacts. Users can also be certain they are getting RED quality thanks to the ability to record up to 6K at 40 fps, 5K at 48 fps, 4K at 60 fps, and 2K at 120 fps in REDCODE RAW for incredible flexibility in post-production. The KOMODO firmware update Beta v.1.5.0 adds support for 6K anamorphic, 4-channel audio, FTPS for remote offloading, Canon RF lens-control ring support, and more. It also adds ExAscend CFast 512GB and 1TB cards to the approved media list.

Revolutionary for RED is the creation of an extremely compact all-in-one design with the KOMODO. This means you can simply pop in a CFast 2.0 card into its media slot and you are ready to roll with data rates up to 280 MB/s. A top 2.9" 1440 x 1440 touchscreen makes it easy to configure and monitor your footage or you can use the RED Control system for using an iOS or Android device for preview and settings. This is possible through integrated 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi. Wired control is also possible via the USB Type-C port and optional adapters.

The use of the Canon RF lens mount allows the KOMODO to be extremely compact while still enabling compatibility with a vast range of lenses through the use of optional adapters. The mount will natively support mechanical RF lenses and mechanical EF lenses via the included adapter. Using optional electronic EF-to-RF mount adapters, the KOMODO will even support electronic Canon EF-mount lenses and unlock additional functionality, such as autofocus.

A first for RED is the ability to use Phase-Detect Autofocus (PDAF) with compatible lenses. This includes adapted Canon EF-mount lenses used with a separately available EF-to-RF adapter with electronic communication. Phase-detect systems are known for their speed by measuring and comparing distance and should provide a reliable, accurate system for video production. Additionally, the touchscreen can be used for quickly changing focus and selecting subjects.

Getting back to image quality, the KOMODO promises to be among RED's finest with the ability to capture up to 6K at 40 fps using the powerful 16-bit REDCODE RAW format. RED has simplified compression options, giving users a choice between HQ, MQ, and LQ, each varying compression from low to high, respectively. Having these choices allows users to choose the best option for each shoot and whether to prioritize data rate or image quality. REDCODE RAW is supported for 5K up to 48 fps, 4K up to 60 fps, and 2K up to 120 fps and will deliver the greatest possible flexibility in post-production. Those looking to use a more conventional format can record natively in Apple ProRes 422 HQ and standard 422 with DCI 4K up to 60 fps or DCI 2K up to 120 fps.

Being a complete all-in-one camera solution, the KOMODO features an array of necessary ports and connections. This includes integrated stereo microphones and a 3.5mm input for audio, genlock/timecode/GPIO/RS232 support via a 9-pin EXT port, and a DC power input. A 12G-SDI port will support up to DCI 4K at 60 fps in 10-bit 4:2:2 quality for dedicated monitoring solutions. The rear of the camera also sports dual Canon BP-9xx series battery slots which can be hot-swapped for practically unlimited recording in the field.

The RED KOMODO 6K offers an exceptionally compact form factor that sacrifices nothing in terms of image quality. This base model includes the KOMODO 6K, a 45W AC power adapter, Mini World Travel Adapter Kit, and a Canon RF-to-EF mechanical adapter.

Great kit and really good location, but pick up and drop off was quite tricky to arrange and a little confused as there are to two different people who reply. 

Was left waiting in the rain for 30 mins at the agreed pickup time with no word from the lender despite myself and fat llama trying to reach them over chat, call and text. When the lender did reply the item was a walk away from the listed location. This then affected the shoot and my relationship with the client.
